Pulling Naturist Youth and Podcast Interview with Felicity
Getting More Naturist Youth Involved in Nudism:
Fkk Youth - Nevertheless, in the world of nudism, Stephane is ahead of the game because he's got the only fkk podcast on the planet right now and a large following to boot.Stephane asked to interview me for this month's show about young naturists, who we are and what we're doing. So what you hear in the show is Stephane first sharing his thoughts on how fkk clubs, groups, etc. can draw in more fkk youth. Afterward there's an interview with me, followed by an interview with Jess of the site Naked Vegan Cooking. If you want some hints or guidance on attracting youth to nudism, listen to this podcast. Stephane understands what he is doing. Bare Oaks is known for its youthful visitors, members and staff, and apparently they had hundreds of visitors under age 35 this past summer.Stephane makes several good points, and I just want to quote him on one that I think gets overlooked. He states that a crucial part of attracting young people is having a "powerful naturist doctrine." He says:"I think you have to be very idealistic, I believe you've got to be an ethical naturistbecause when you are young is when you're at your most idealistic. That is when you are most involved in causes. That is when a message of health and social justice and having a better world generally speaking with regards to body approval and getting along together. That message calls more accurate when you're younger"Nudist YouthI think about my 24-year old self and how I need to save earth. So, yeah. This is absolutely authentic. And look at how many young people rally around the World Naked Bike Ride worldwide, for example. Give them a good motive or cause to get nude, and make way for nude youth on bicycles! As FKK, we have got this part covered. In fact it goes back to why we began FKK to begin with, because nudism to us is undoubtedly about considerably more than just becoming naked. At its center, we consider the naturist movement should be about acceptance, as Stephane quotes us on. It is what makes us body favorable and sex-positive! We have a set of ideals and causes we care about and fight for. While I believe there are folks who merely want to get naked (or see nude people maybe), I definitely agree with Stephane on this point, that it's an important aspect to consider when trying to entice youth to the naturist movement. In the segment with Jess, I think it is worth noting that his website is run by a small grouping of young adults who are not just about cooking naked, but also work to encourage body positivity, well-being and comprehension of issues they care about. It is also interesting to note that although Jess engages in social nudity, he wouldn't label himself a naturist or naturist. He hasn't visited a fkk club, nor does he think such areas are related to his practice of social nudity. He mentions that there are many young people who try social nudism without thinking about it in fkk terms. We discover this trend ourselves just in the amounts of individuals who have never visited any fkk club before attending a FKK assembly.Matters to ponder! What do my readers think? Is having a leading, defined naturist philosophy an important part of participating young people in naturism? Does a deficiency of one lead to a lack of interest in visiting fkk clubs, resorts or attending naturist group occasions?Tags: clubs and resorts, young nudists and naturistsClassification: Felicity's Naturist Site, Naturist Living Show Podcast, Naturist Site, Fkk Organizations, Social Nudity SitesAbout the Author (Author Profile)
